The Waggon & Horses

A traditional free house

Well-kept real ales, an open fire, and a welcome that hasn’t changed in a hundred years.

Step inside

The house

The corner where the village stops by.

The Waggon & Horses is a proper free house — no big-brewery strings, just beer we believe in and a fire that’s always lit when the nights draw in. Pull up a stool, settle a debate over the quiz, or book the back room for a long Sunday with the family.

Cask ales kept the way they should be, a small, honest menu, and dogs always welcome by the hearth.
